Michał Chmielecki
I have ten years of experience in conducting corporate training, delivering lectures, workshops, and seminars. I specialize in international negotiations, cross-cultural management, and communication. This site is a natural outcome of my professional experience in management as an entrepreneur, manager, and academic.

Among my clients are exporters and importers, research companies, scientific institutions, and non-profit institutions, etc. I have also trained officers in the Polish and American Army before missions to Afghanistan.

Experience
I currently work as an assistant professor at Clark University (MA, USA) and the University of Social Sciences (the biggest private university in Poland), where I teach Negotiation and Conflict Resolution, Cross-Cultural Communication and Business Communication, among others, to MBA and MSPC students. I am also the head of the International Cooperation Department at the University of Social Sciences. I cooperate with Polish Institutute of Foreign Affairs, European Academy of Diplomacy and Cracow School of Business (MBA).
I serve as the associate editor of the Journal of Intercultural Management, editor of the Entrepreneurship and Management Journal, and the secretary of the Intercultural Management Congress. I am also a manager of Public Relations Professional postgraduate studies, and Business Negotiation postgraduate studies, and have lectured in the UK, Ireland, Portugal, and Slovenia. I also cooperateed with the European Institute where I worked across industries with business owners (I helped them develop new products, re-invent their companies and their marketing).
I gained experience in Germany, among other countries, in one of the biggest consulting companies – TAW.de. I have held several management positions. I have also successfully started and managed new enterprises. My ventures include, among others, international trade (import and distribution) consulting and PR agency.
Education
I have studied in the US, Poland, and Germany, and conducted research for my PhD thesis on cross-cultural negotiation management in China, the US, Egypt, and Poland.
Expertise
I have published over 70 scientific articles and several books as well as numerous articles in the business press (negotiation, cross-cultural communication, public relations, knowledge management).
As an expert and advisory committee board member, I have been involved in numerous European projects concerning the collaboration between education and business. I have taken part in numerous international conferences and workshops (both scientific and professional).
I have given a number of interviews as an expert on issues related to negotiation and cross-cultural communication. I am a member of many professional associations including the International Association for Conflict Management and the American Communication Association.
